We will NEVER provide your email address(es) or personal data to any third party for their marketing purposes

Overview:

This page describes how dataKart, Inc and any owned and operated web sites including dataKart.net, protect and use any personal information collected about you through our interactions or the interactions you have with the users of our products and services.  You can learn more about our products and services here on this website.

dataKart is a product used by independent retailers to help them create a rich on-site and off-site customer experience.  By utilizing the information collected about purchases and interests you provide to the retailer, we facilitate email marketing that is more likely to be targeted to your specific interests. 

To keep you continuously informed we will always maintain a privacy policy and will show the last modified date.

dataKart will never rent or sell your personal information to any third party vendor for marketing purposes - period. 

If you are reading this statement you likely received an email from one of our customers you shared your email address or personal informaton with.  Our customers are independent retailers located in the United States and Canada.  We provide a customer management application that works with the retail store's point of sale software.  A retail store using our software may be able to use past purchases, electrocnic, verbal, and written communications to send email newsletters, promotions, event invitations and other email that are relevant and the most likely to add value to the relationship you have with the retailer.  We do not knowingly promote, support or allow any of our customers to utilize our servers for any spam activities.  In a nutshell, we protect your information as we would want ours protected.  We do not allow our customers to pass credit card information, upload "rented" lists to our service and all reasonable attempts including firewalls and security monitoring are taken to protect the information that is collected about you through our service and the retailer you are supplying it to.

Let's face it, sometimes misunderstandings happen or your expectations aren't met, all emails sent through our service are required to identify the sender, have an unsubscribe link displayed in the footer and to have been collected and used according to the expectations you had when you supplied the information.  Please look for the email Unsubscirbe link in the footer of emails sent by our service.  You can quickly unsubscribe and will no longer receive email from the retail store again, unless you later request to be added again.  All email unsubscribes are processed almost immediately if our servers are available, but NEVER longer then a 24 Hour period.  If you feel one of our customers may have abused this policy please report or forward the email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it Direct mail communications you recieve from these retailers are not sent through the dataKart service.
 
You be able to find identifying information about the sender of the email you received in the footer of the email that was sent to you.  As required for Can Spam compliance, it contains contact information of the sender as well as the address and email address it was sent from.  Again you are encouraged to express any concerns to the sending retailer as well as by sending an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

Our service does provide reporting using web beacons (as do most email service providers you are probably receiving email through). These beacons allow dataKart to show links clicked and who clicked what link to the retailer that is sending you the email.  This allows a retailer to taylor and monitor the populatrity of content and content types to improve the overall experience you have with them as a customer.  If you would like additional information or to speak to a Human about any concerns or questions you might have, please do not hesitate to call 866-476-6565.
